We believe the Bible is God’s inspired word and we follow Jesus’ Great Commission of making disciples “as we are going”. Matthew 28:19-20
Our Preschool Ministry is where our youngest ones learn about God and His love. This occurs as we show our love for God and others in our everyday actions by lovingly caring for the youngest ones.
Kim Sego is our Preschool Ministry Director. She also is director of the Care Clinic on Sawyer.
As the Bible says in Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Len Holm serves as Children’s Ministry Director. He teaches children in first through fifth grades about Jesus and God. He also works at the Tilden Mine. Len is assisted by Martha Miller.
Besides our regular Bible Study Sundays at 9:45, we also have Children’s Worship during worship time.
Deuteronomy 11:19 makes it clear that teaching our children about God has to be part of our daily life.
Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
With all the things influencing our Youth today it is important to not only teach them what God’s word says, but for them to be involved in the Church.
Our Youth help with ushering. They also assist in other church activities. The boys help prepare and serve Easter breakfast. Some help in the preschool area. Many are involved in our Kid’s Christmas Shopping day.
Youth also help during church work days and are role models for our children in other ways.
Our Youth Ministry Director is Lisa Polkinghorne. She works with 6th through 12th graders.
As with all of our workers, Leah is a volunteer. She works for WHWL Radio Station.

Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Ron Sego is our Music Ministry Director and leads our Worship Team. He does an excellent job of relating our music to scripture. Ron is also Pastor.
Our current worship team consists of Jan Graves, Bonnie Fuller, Martha Miller, Ann Schultz, Traci Steele, Mark Hiller and Stephen Boone.
Deuteronomy 31:19 “So write down the words of this song, and teach it to the people of Israel. Help them learn it, so it may serve as a witness for Me against them.
